The Water Harvesting component aims to reinforce dialogue and cooperation among stakeholders with the objective of improving rain fed crop production and enhancing supplies for small-scale irrigation and domestic water needs, especially for poor rural communities. This component includes regional consultation and training activities as well as exchange of experience and best practices, and basin-wide twinning of institutions.
