March to May 2008 | Download Attached Documents EWUAP project has started a process of profiling best practices for water harvesting and community managed irrigation in each Nile Basin country. National consultants in each NBI country were recruited to document and come up with country specific practices. Methodology, criteria and preliminarily reports for best practices were discussed during an inception workshop held in Kenya in November 2007 which saw participation from Working group members and National project coordinators and international consultant. The workshop recommended the validation of country reports at country level before they are finalized. The process has started and up to now the following countries through the active role of national coordinators have finalized their validation workshops and submitted their country opinion on the reports. More reports and proceedings will be posted as they are finalized |
